Discover Koh Phra Thong & Surin: A Conservation Immersive Experience
Welcome to one of Thailand’s best-kept secrets. Koh Phra Thong (Golden Buddha Island) is a unique gem in the Andaman Sea, far removed from the bustling crowds of typical tourist destinations. Known for its extraordinary landscapes, the island features a rare combination of coastal dunes, lush mangroves, swamp forest, and a sprawling inland savanna that resembles the African plains.
By choosing this 8-day/7-night experience, you aren’t just a tourist; you are supporting vital conservation work and learning how to protect our oceans. Naucrates is a non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of nature, with a focus on sea turtles and their natural habitats. For over two decades, the Naucrates team has worked alongside the local community on Koh Phra Thong to monitor nesting beaches and protect the island’s delicate ecosystems.
