In occasion of the Seventh Annual Meeting, held at Castello Santa Margherita, in Cori (LT-Italy) on 11th October 2008, pictures were on display for two days in the room where the meeting was conducted.

A total of 60 pictures participated in the competition. Participants of the competition were: Alain Dohet, Marjut Valtanen, Mikaela Hulme,  Catriona Beattie, Ray Shepherd, Ilse Verkaar, Tim Shouten, Jaruwan Kaewmahanin(Ning), Thitiya Seekhasamban  (Nook)  and Alessandra De Lucia.

Members who attended the meeting were invited to choose one favourite picture and vote for it. Naucrates secretary with help of the children, counted the votes and proclaimed the winners. The winners of Naucrates Photographer of the Year 2008 were:

1°prize  Alain Dohet

2°prize Alessandra DeLucia

3°prize Jaruwan Kaewmahanin(Ning)
