Conservation project in Thailand

    Here is a list of items needed in the sea turtle project in Thailand:
    • Comfortable summer clothing (shorts, T-shirts, bathing suit), for women shorts and skirts that come below the knees and shirts that cover the shoulders when you are in the village
    • Cotton sweater (long sleeve)
    • Long pants (trousers)
    • Sand shoes (for walking distances with wet sandy feet, something like sandals, water shoes, diving shoes)
    • Flip flops
    • Day bag or small back bag
    • Flashlight/torch with spare battery or the kind that can be charged with winding or shaking
    • Sunglasses
    • Sun cream (one bottle per person per 2 weeks)
    • Towel
    • Waterproof jacket
    • Insect repellent
    • Sun hat or cap
    • Big cotton sheet or sarong to cover yourself at night and to lie on the beach
    • Camera
    • Binoculars, books and such for your free time
    • Alarm clock
    • Flask/ water bottle of high quality plastic or metal
    • Personal toiletry items
    • Sewing kit
    • Basic medicine and personal belongings (band aids, antibacterial cream, antihistamine, aloe vera (for sun burn), antidiahrrea powder could be useful).
    • Pocket money (Thai Bahts to buy drinks: coke 20 baht, beer 40 baht, etc).There is no bank or ATM machine in the Island.
    • Snorkelling equipment. (can be rented also)
